Sail Team BCN Announces Crews for Youth and Women’s America’s Cup

Sail Team BCN has announced the names of the sailors who will be aboard the AC40, both for the youth and women’s teams.
The first to debut will be the youth team sailors, who begin official training this Tuesday, September 10th. They will then start the official competition in the Youth America’s Cup on September 17th. The skippers for Sail Team BCN will be Martín Wizner and Conrad Konitzer, while Jaime Framis and Antonio Torrado will serve as trimmers. Albert Torres and Neus Ballester will be the reserve skippers, with Marcos Fernández acting as reserve trimmer.
As for the women’s team, Silvia Mas and Neus Ballester will be the skippers, with María Cantero and Paula Barceló as trimmers. Nicole Van der Velden will be the reserve sailor. Sail Team BCN will not have Támara Echegoyen, as she has decided to leave the team to pursue other professional projects. The official training for the women’s team will begin on September 28th, and the Women’s America’s Cup will start on October 5th.
